homework #53
Summary-so far in the book,"the west side story" the boys that are known as the jets are telling their story.Their lives are type hard.I say that because while they where telling about their lives i had got a vision in my head.Their lives was very cruel.One of the boys in the book had said that had to stay up at night to watch out for any trouble or the sharks.The sharks were Spanish people but known as the sharks.Also because they really didn't have anytime to go home.
Analyze-The whole point of the book in my opinion is about a whole group of boys and another group of boys who are practically enemies and really hate each other and are fighting for their land.I think that the author is trying to tell the reader that the boys in book have a hard life and that they act like they don't have home technically because there not in it a lot.That sound like an interesting book to me.

Chapter 2 quiz the Watsons go to Birmingham
1.Larry Dunn was the kindergarten to fourth grade king at Clark elementary because he very older and very stronger then the rest of us.(pg.20)
3.Kenny had some advantages of having a older brother known as a god,people would not tease him as much.(pg.21)
5.Demonstrating his reading ability to other classes did NOT make Kenny one of the most popular kids at Clark elementary.(pg.25)
8.Kenny thought that Byron was proud of having a little brother that is smart. (pg.25)
11.Byron thought that if he entered karate classes he wouldn't have to be afraid of Byron moving to junior high school and he wouldn't be able to get teased or beat up.(pg.27)
13.In Byron's absence Kenny did NOT feel safe from bullies when he was on the bus.(pg.28)
14.But today the bus driver did something he had never done before,he noticed two kids running up late ...and he stopped to let them get on.(pg.28)
